Depending on your backpack and your target market you will choose a background that will work best for your marketing. If you are selling on Amazon, the photos have to be on a white background, but if you have your own website you can choose something else.
45 Degree Angle Open Backpack
For backpack photography, it is important that the bag looks full and is photographed in a way that highlights its shape and straps. Pay special attention to show the unique details of you backpack.
1. 45 Degree Angle Photo
A 45 degree photo is probably the most important photo of your backpack listing, and it is a good idea to make it the main image. Showing the product at a 45 degree angle not only gives an idea of what the backpack looks like in the front and the side, but also shows the width of the backpack. These are all key elements that shoppers need to even consider a backpack.

2. 45 Degree Angle Back Photo
The purpose of a 45 degree angle back photo of the backpack is similar to the 45 front angle photo, but it gives your buyer the opportunity to see and evaluate the straps and material of the back.

3. Straight On Photos
The 45 degree photos are essential, but so are 2-3 straight on photos of the front, back, side and/or bottom. These give a fuller impression of what the bag is overall. You can have these with straps up or down (we think up is better), but not both. There is little benefit to taking photos with both versions.
